Pink

Month long card challenges are my favorites. I don't know about you, but I am slow on card making. After I saw the challenges I wanted to play along, I would think about it, then I would take out my stamps, my cardstocks to look for ideas, then I would make the cards, and think about the cards a few more days, and remake the cards... That's why I always enter the challenges at the last few days. Sometimes the last day.

I thought I was making these cards forever! The final versions were not the cards I imaged at first, but it turned out to be the cards I liked. And instead of one card, I made two.

When I first made the card, I was using black ink for the flowers. Then I wanted to see what they would be like if I stamped them in gray ink. So I made a second card using gray ink for the flowers and black ink for the sentiment so the sentiment could pop.

After making the second card, I was thinking could it be better if I cut out the middle section of the first card and added an extra layer for the sentiment so it could pop? So I did that. Then I also did something similar to the second card. I just went back and forth between these two cards. Which card do you think is better?

This is the first card I made. The second card is in the the next post.

I would like to play along the challenges:
