Wonderful
I made this card to play the little tangles challenge #69. I only found this challenge today and I was in panic, because today is the last day to add a card to the challenge.
The challenge is to use embossing technique. I quickly got out my beloved butterfly stamp from Inkadinkado and the sentiment stamp from Paper Smooches "Kudos Two". I then stamped them in pink on a piece of light purple card and embossed the card with Darice embossing folder with my Sizzix. Finally, I put a little pink heart next to the sentiment and added a darker purple card behind the lighter one.

Another Owl Graduation Card
Another owl card was requested by my son since he will be attending another graduation party. I changed the colors because I realized the colors I used for the gown in the previous card were a little off.
This is the previous card I made. Same design, just different colors. See how it was made here. I love the embossed cloud background and the owl with wings opened up ready to fly away and explore and change the world!

Congratulations for CAS(E) and CASology
I am new to card challenges. I've been seeing the sketches, but had no ideas what they were. Last week, I finally had the urge to explore. And wow, I realized how much fun I missed and decided to play along!
I made the background using my kids' markers. I first colored the acrylic block with the markers, then with a dampened brush, I picked up the colors and painted on Carnson 140lb watercolor paper. It amazed me how I can use the markers that were putting away in a box and seldom got used to make cards!
The simple sentiment, congratulations from Penny Black "Snippets", was stamped directly on the watercolor paper. The flowers from Hero Arts "flower garden" were first stamped, fuzzy cut, and then glued next to the sentiment. I love the purple watercolor stripes and the simplicity of the sketch. Thank you CAS(E) and CASology for the inspiration!
I'll be playing two challenges: CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge #178 and CASology Week 203: Congratulations. A bit nervous, hoping I am following the rules all right.

Green Thank You Card
A card made for my son's writing tutor to show appreciations. My son's tutor loves color green. It shows all over her - on her notebooks, folders, clothing... I think a green flower card would make her very happy!!
The flower stamps are from Inkadinkado. The sentiment stamp is from Stamp Smooches. I used a piece of brown baker's twine to tie the sentiment on the card. I also added different shades of green cards behind the sentiment to make the card more interesting.

Congrats
It's graduation season! I love making graduation cards with Stampin Up! Owl punch!
I first embossed the blue background with Darice cloud embossing folder and added a brown strip for the owl to stand on. The brown strip was also embossed with Darice embossing folder to add some texture. The sentiment stamp was from Your Next Stamp.
A simple card and so cute!! And yes, you guessed right. Their school colors are blue and silver.
I forgot to add the tassel. After the tassel was added, the owl looked even more awesome!! Congratulations!!

Pink Happy Birthday
I love the color combination - pink and violet. It will be a very happy birthday!
The flower stamps I used are from Waffle Flower. Sentiment is from Stamp Smooches. Embossing folder is from Sizzix. The sequins put on the flowers added sparkle to the card.

Best Wishes
A student is moving to Georgia, so I made a card for her and have the whole class to sign the card. She is a sweet girl and will be missed.
I know she loves dogs and her family had bought her a puppy last year, but they was too busy and a puppy needed lots of attention and care so they had to send the dog back. How heartbreaking!!
I think a dog themed card would cheer her up about the moving. Wishing her the best!!
I stamped the dog and the background with Inkadinkado stamp set 97620. The sentiments are from Penny Black "Snippets".
Amazing Every Day
A friend of mine is moving to Georgia. Although we were not that close, we had some fun together!
It's always hard for me to say good bye. So, as I looked through my stamp sets, I skipped "good bye" and "missing you" kind of sentiments and chose this sentiment instead. It's from Waffle Flower "In Every Way" and this is just perfect! It's hard to see from the picture, but I glued a piece of orange foam to raise "every day" to make the card a little more interesting. I also think it is fun to tilt the white card and add the embossed dotted background.
We will be parted very soon, but we can still be amazing every day!!

Fluttering By
Meeting a friend for coffee this afternoon. I am so happy to meet with her after the end of the sport season of our kids back in March.
Made this card for her to say hi. I first stamped the flowers using stamps from Waffle Flower "In every Way", then I stamped the sentiment using stamps from Penny Black "Snippets" on vellum paper and glued the butterfly on top of the sentiment. The embossed borders were embossed using Darice embossing folder. I couldn't wait to see the smile on her face when she gets the card this afternoon!!
