Sparkly Hello

I am meeting a friend for lunch tomorrow and I wanted to make her a happy card. This is perfect for me to try the sparkle embossing power I bought a while ago. I had no idea what it would look like, but I was happy after I heat embossed it. I hope my friend will like the card I made for her.

I used the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch #215 as my inspiration to make the card. The pretty rose was heat embossed with the sparkle embossing power. I added little dots using clear stardust Gelly Roll pen on the background. The sentiment "hello" was first die cut then highlighted using the clear stardust Gelly Roll pen and Glossy Accents. Since the card has sparkles all over, it was so hard to photograph, especially those little sparkles on the background. Making the card was quick, but I ended up taking tons of photos until I took this one, and I was finally happy with it.

You can see more sparkles on the background from the close up. The sparkles are more colorful on the actual card and they show different shades of sparkles from different angles. Unfortunately, all the pretty sparkles and colors got lost from the photos.

I am playing along with this challenge: CAS(E) this Sketch #215.

And this challenge: CAS Game #87 - Shiny Spring. Hello spring!!

Thank you for visiting.
