One layer Balloon

I made a card for the current CASology challenge. They are celebrating their 5-year anniversary with balloon cards. I decided to make a simply one layer card with a chevron background and one single balloon. I used 3 different sentiments and added some Nuvo crystal drops to finish off the card.

I am finally back from a long break. Here I am sharing a card made with a new stamp set from Paper Smooches. This is an older stamp set from them called Blossoming Bud, but I just got it and I can't wait to start making cards with the pretty flowers from the set!

I first masked a section on the card base and stamped the flowers, then I used pearlescent watercolor paints to color the flowers and leaves. I also added lots of dots to fill in the entire defined area. The sentiment was also from the same stamp set. I used silver embossing power and heat embossed the sentiment to match the pearlescent colors. The color of the card base was actually dark grey, but it looked like black from the photos. I guess I am needing a major improvement on my photography skills.
