Rainbow Love

I painted a pretty rainbow background with watercolor and made two cards out of it. The sentiments were first die cut from the rainbow background and white watercolor paper. I then inlaid the white sentiment on the watercolor background and watercolor sentiment on the white background. Sequins with matching colors were also added on both ends to finish up the cards.

This is the card with watercolor background and white sentiment.

I like the soft watercolor rainbow background and the pretty sentiments. The cards are good for any occasions and also perfect for Easter!

Spreading Wings Butterflies

I just got a sentiment stamp from Hobby Lobby's clearance. "Until you spread your wings, you have no idea how far you'll fly." What is the perfect stamp to use with the sentiment? Butterfly! Of course!

I ran through all my stamp sets and tried to find the perfect butterfly. This is what I came up with. I used memento dew drop ink pads to ink up the entire butterfly stamp with the lightest color Angle Pink first as a base color, then I dabbed Rose Bud, Lulu Lavendar, Lilac Posies, Sweet Plum on the stamp randomly here and there to make the butterflies all colorful.

Then I suddenly remembered my beloved but recently neglected big butterfly stamp and I had to use it to make another card. The same method was used for this big beauty.

Here is a close up.
