Pink Flower New Year

This is one of the New Year cards I made. I painted pink for the flowers and greenish grey for their backgrounds using Altenew Watercolor 36 Paint Pans. The stamp set I used is from Altenew's Dearest Friend stamp set.

I was so inspired by this card with the loose watercoloring and I am pretty happy with my end results. Hope you'll like my card too.

Blue Blooming New Year

Hello, dear friends!  Thank you for stopping by! 

This is a quick and easy card to make and I liked this simple design so much that I will definitely make more!

The stamp set I used is from Altenew Floral Art. This set has a large flower for stamp layering or you could just stamp the large flower outline and color the flower. For this card, I colored outside of the flower with blue watercolor and added a silver stripe underneath the flower panel to draw attention to the sentiment.

Blooming New Year

I always make cards for Chinese New Year after Christmas every year. I will be uploading all the cards pretty soon. This card was the first one I made and all the colors from the card matched the colors from Altenew January challenge! 

I used an Altenew stamp set called Blooming Bouquet.  It's a large stamp set and perfect for the festive New Year card. I used watercolor to color all the flowers and added gold acrylic paint for accents here and there on the flowers.

I love pink flowers. I love watercoloring. I also love a big thank you. Combing these three things, I got this card for you!

Sweet Yellow Ditsy

The inspiration challenge photo at Altenew this month reminded me of their sweet Ditsy Print Stamp Set and I had to use the stamp set to make a card and play along their challenge.

Here is the card I made. Isn't it a sweet card for a sweet friend?

Sparkle Friends

I made a card for a sweet friend who likes simple and elegant cards. And I had to add some sparkles for her. 

I used Altenew's Frosted Garden Stamp Set to stamp the flowers and then I heat embossed the center of the flowers with gold embossing powder. I was lucky enough to find a matching cardstock to make a side border to match the flower color. I also used gold acrylic paint to paint a golden stripe on the side border. With the left over gold paint, I added some golden dots here and there around the flowers. The sentiment was also form the same stamp set.
